AOC cables greatly exceed the capabilities of copper conductors. Cables Gefen HDTV Fiber Optic DVI-D is an active electro-optical solution: the cable connectors are built converters and transmitting optical modules.
The structure of the cable is hybrid: there is a fiber optic for video signals and copper conductors for power transmission and DDC signals. Given the size of the cable connectors,
when laying, it is necessary to use cable channels with a diameter of at least 25 mm. Cables support transmission of HDCP protected signals and are available in lengths from 10 to 100 meters.
