    The HD-SDI fiber optic transmitter converts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI video signals . The HD-SDI transmitter provides simple, state-of-the-art integration of SDI content to non-SDI displays in a fiber-optic AV system.

    The transmitter is ideal for many different applications where high quality video transmission of high resolution content over long distances is required. Because the content sent over fiber is secure from unauthorized access, fiber applications are especially preferred in government, military, and medical applications. The transmitter has connections for industry standard LC connectors.

    It is ideal for installations in auditoriums, houses of worship, distance learning and other environments where transmissions

    The FOXBOX T HD-SDI MM supports 850 nm multimode fiber, most commonly used in buildings or facilities with medium transmission distances (max. 2 km). The FOXBOX T HD-SDI SM accepts both singlemode and multimode 1310 nm fiber. Very long transmission distances of up to 30 km are possible with singlemode fiber. Singlemode is used in very large facilities, such as airports and stadiums, and to connect over very long distances, such as between buildings in a university.
