The 1-to-4 HDMI splitter supports HDMI video resolutions up to 4K @60Hz (4:4:4), 1080P 3D, multi-channel audio formats and CEC pass-through.
1x4 HDMI2.0 Splitter with Adjustable EDID
In addition to passing EDID information from the display, this 1x4 4K60 HDMI splitter provides several built-in EDID settings that can be selected via a 4-pin DIP switch on the front panel.
The EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is used by the HDMI source device to match the video resolution to the connected display. By default, the HDMI source obtains the EDID from the first sink connected to the it. If HDMI sinks (monitors, TVs and/ or projectors) with different resolutions are connected to the it, the EDID value can be set to a fixed value using a DIP switch on the front panel to ensure video resolution compatibility.
